Why you should add coconut oil to your diet

Hey, hey, hey. I have some news for you.

WHO LOVES COCONUT OIL?

Coconut oil is not only an amazing mositurizer for you skin it also is very beneficial to add to your diet.

So I love to cook with coconut oil but I also recently discovered that you can drink 1 tsp 3 times daily with different meals and it helps with all sorts of things.

First off!

How do I drink my extra-virgin coconut oil?

  • 1 TSP Organic extra-virgin coconut oil

  • put in microwave for 15 secs

  • stir until all the way melted

  • drink up

  • I do this with 3 meals a day

Okay, so why should I be adding this to my diet?

  • Coconut oil is filled with MCT’s (Medium Chain triglycerides) which can increase energy expenditure compared to the same amount of calories from longer chain fats…Which help you burn stored fat-umm HELLO great news!!!!!

  • The Lauric Acid in Extra-Virgin Coconut oil kills of fungi and bacteria helping you fight viruses :) Perfect!

  • Coconut can also help kill hunger, the fatty acids help reduce your appetite

  • The oil can help reduce heart disease by lowering your cholesterol

  • It’s also amazing for your hair skin and nails

  • The fatty acid also increases brain cells to reduce Alzheimer’s

  • The most dangerous kind of fat is the kind that is in your belly…coconut oil reduces abdominal fat ….We all want a flat belly right!
